Drop in Sessions for Stockport Council’s Independent Flood Review are starting next week.

The consultants Mott McDonald, who were commissioned to undertake the original section 19 flood report following the flooding event last summer, have been reviewing the initial information provided by residents and other key stakeholders including the Environment Agency and UU and are now ready to hold the drop in sessions for local residents and businesses. Council representatives will also be present at the sessions, but with the expert teams facilitating and using the sessions to gain insight and views from residents.

These sessions have been booked to allow residents to provide any further information to the consultants to inform their review. Council officers will attend each session but the focus will be on allowing residents and businesses to talk to the consultants.
