Charles Gibson is your newest Hazel Grove Councillor following the 1st August by election.
The Team would like to thank you for your support, whether it was campaigning with Charles, displaying a garden poster or (most importantly) at the ballot box.
Cllr Lou Ankers said, “Charles will be a great asset to our area. He has already shown me he is ambitious for Hazel Grove and I am sure we will all show you over the coming weeks.”
Charles received 46% of the vote as support for other parties slumped.
Cllr Charles Gibson said, “We had a positive message and it felt like a clear rejection of the Conservatives locally & Labour in the Town Hall. My aim is to get the Liberal Democrats running Stockport.”
