Carillion Morgan Sindall has committed to supporting local community projects during the construction of the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road (A6MARR), through the provision of materials and labour. The first tranche of projects were selected in late 2015 and are:

• Stanley Hall Park, Handforth, Accessible Picnic Area (now complete)
• Woodbank Park, Stockport, Athletics Stadium Improvement Project (ongoing)
• Wythenshawe Campus Community Garden (ongoing)
