After action by Cllr Jon Twigge a number of temporary “No construction traffic” signs have been strategically placed at the junction of Peter St & Commercial Rd.

There is a significant developments happening at the McCarthy & Stone retirement homes at the other end of Peter St. Locals will know that there is a walkway separating the two ends of the street and you cannot drive from one end to the other. Many deliverers & contractors do not know this, often causing difficulties for these truck drivers & residents alike when a big truck tries to get down and reverse all the way back out of a narrow cul-de-sac
