Good News – Park and Ride to Stepping Hill weekly ticket

Some good news – the Hazel Grove Lib Dem team have negotiated a new weekly bus ticket with Stagecoach.
Our initial aim was to try to get people parking in Hazel Grove residential streets to move to the park and ride. At £13.50 a week the Greater Manchester ticket was too much but this new ticket, only valid between the park and ride and Stepping Hill (Dialstone lane), is much more accessible at only £5 a week.
However, this also has possibilities for staff and regular visitors at the hospital itself.
The park and ride is well lit and monitored between 6am and midnight and buses are at least every 10 minutes.
