Good news, the digital and design team have now made the new online reporting of blocked drains and grids live.

This uses the same technology as reporting a faulty street light so you can now do all of the following things:

• find blocked grids on a map or by post code
• zoom in and see which grids have already been reported
• for existing reports see a history of the report and its status

If you have a My Stockport account you can even go back and see all the grids that you have previously reported and you can register for updates when the grids are unblocked. Here is a link if you want to report a drain or grid block right now 

From walking around Hazel Grove there were clearly a lot of blocked grids in the past but hopefully this new system will help us keep them clear in the future.
