Standing up for Hazel Grove All Year Round Learn more
by paulankers on 28 March, 2020
There are many Stockport Council employees who have self isolated during the crisis. The priority will always be to keep you and your family safe. However, this is likely to see an impact on bin collections in Hazel Grove. Other areas of Stockport have seen services impacted.
From next week, w/c 30/3 we will see this service.
Green bins
There will be no further green bin collections until further notice. You must put your food waste in your black bin.
Black bins
There is no change to your black bin collection and it’ll continue to be emptied every 2 weeks on your normal day. Please put all food waste in your black bin.
Blue bins
From the week starting Monday 6 April, blue bins will be collected every 4 weeks. We’ll provide more information about this new schedule at the end of next week.
Brown bins
There is no change to your brown bin collection and it’ll continue to be emptied every 4 weeks on your normal day.
Missed blue collections from week of 23 March
If you have had your Blue Bin collection missed this week starting on Monday March 23, please your put your bin out on Monday March 30 before 7am and we’ll try to catch up if we have the capacity during the week.
Black bin not collected today
Please ensure you report it to the Council. They may get to it on Monday
Can you please give me dates for blue black brown green bin collection in hazel grove . My dad is 92 and is confused with system in place. Thankyou
Hi Mr Harrison, it is quite confusing whilst a lot of staff are self isolating etc. It varies by street and I don’t know exactly where your father lives. Use this web address to find up to date details https://www.stockport.gov.uk/find-your-collection-day
They will update it with any changes, but I only expect those to be a gradual return to normal service, hopefully very soon.
