Redrock is a major new development in the shopping area of Stockport and promises an exciting regeneration.

The proposals include:

• 10 screen multiplex cinema, pre-let to The Light Cinema.
• Over 38,000 sq. ft. of retail, restaurants and bars.
• 340 space multi-storey car park.
• New public squares.
• New urban realm enhancements to link the development with the core retail areas will also provide the opportunity for external seating.

Primarily, it will improve the area behind Debenhams. It will create a new cinema as well as restaurants & bars.

Local LibDem Jon Twigge said, “Stockport centre is not somewhere you go to socialise – this will be a boost and make the area more attractive. It will be a bit like Spinningfields in Manchester. Thats just the sort of place Stockport deserves.”
