Investing in Our Roads & Pavements – Argyle St | Hazel Grove Ward Liberal Democrats

When your Liberal Democrats ran Stockport Council, we created a scheme to invest £100m to improve roads and footpaths across the borough over a nine year delivery period. This funding will be used to carry out a range of repairs from patching to resurfacing in targeted areas which will provide a long term solution to the deterioration on the highway network. As part of the programme, Stockport Council will be carrying out footway reconstruction works on Argyle Street, Hazel Grove (full length). This work will be carried out by Totally Local Company.

The work is scheduled to commence on Monday 25th February 2019 between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs and will take up to 2 weeks, weather permitting.

There is also likely improvement works for the bus stop close to Memorial Gardens although that will be paid for by a planning condition.
