Stockport Councillor Lisa Smart narrowly missed out on winning the Hazel Grove constituency in Theresa May’s snap General Election.

Lisa’s Liberal Democrats increased there share of the vote more than any other party and cut the Conservative majority to just over 5,500. But it wasn’t enough.

A proven local campaigner and part of the Liberal Democrat team who represent you at the Town Hall Lisa says, “Thank you so much to all the lovely people in our area. As always we tried our best to win and we know my colleagues and I will keep up the fight for you and for our local services”.
