Hazel Grove Christmas festival was cancelled at the 11th hour because of the effects of Hurricane Desmond.
Hazel Grove Christmas festival will now be going ahead on the 12th of December 11am-7pm. It will be both an a Indoor and outdoor market the festival starting point is now The Grove pub (Used to be Oscars/Zuri’s), with stalls covering two floors, an outdoor festive food court, Santa’s Grotto, outdoor market stalls, Christmas Carollers, Tombola, fully licensed bar and Mulled wine.
The organisers have said this could not have happened without the outstanding effort of Stockport Council Licensing, Health and Safety, Environmental health, greenspace Departments, many very understanding stall holders, the countless amount of volunteers sacrificing hundreds of hours of their time and The Grove Public House.
However, the Santa dash will not be rearranged this year. They are trying to set a record for the most ‘Rocking Santa’s’. You can buy a santa outfit at the event or bring your own.
