Crime has been going down for many years, but after a number of incidents, local police are advising residents to keep all valuables out of sight in your home and car. These include laptops, iPads and mobiles.

Recently they’ve seen an increase of vehicles being broken into over the Hazel Grove area. Local police are advising:

• Remove all valuable items and bags out of the vehicle
• If possible leave your glove box open so they can see nothing is inside
• Always double check your doors & windows are locked and secured
